Internet Explorer keeps track of websites that you visit...
Internet Explorer maintains a history of the websites that you visit. The Free Internet
Explorer Cleaner automatically erases the Internet Explorer history every time you
start (reboot) your computer.
You can see the Internet Explorer history by opening Internet Explorer and pressing
CTRL + h. The History window displays
websites that you've visited.
You can manually clear the Internet Explorer history using Internet Explorer by
selecting Tools > Internet Options > General tab > and pressing Clear History
button.
Next to the Clear History button is a list box that determines how long Internet
Explorer retains history information. You can set the number to zero if you want
Internet Explorer to maintain a minimal history. Note that if you set the
number to zero Internet Explorer will not clear the Internet Explorer history until
the following day.
TypedURLs are stored in the history. Every time you type a URL in the address bar
and press go (or enter) the typed URL is stored in the registry. You can view these
by click the down arrow next to Internet Explorer address bar and you will see a
list of urls. To delete TypedURLs you need to remove them from the registry.
